Conformable Safety-Grip - Abrasive Safety Tape
The Heskins conformable safety-grip™ is an ingenious non slip surface ideal for use on chequer or durbar plate, it comes in three industry specified colours; black, yellow or black/yellow hazard, although we can make to any Pantone® or RAL colour on special request.The conformable material for this abrasive safety tape is constructed from a soft aluminium foil base and then top coated with a thick spread of aluminium oxide grit.
Once the abrasive safety tape has been applied the conformable safetygrip adopts the texture of the durbar or chequer plate, as it is foil based it has no inherent memory so will not lift or rise off.
As the conformable safety-grip material is non-plastic based it has a secondary use of being flame retardant, our product has been tested to certain Civil Aviation Authority specifications for burn testing.
