The sandpaper tape produced by Heskins provides extremely high levels of grip (or coefficient of friction as it is technically known). Heskins uses aluminium oxide, the sharp fractures of this mineral result in an extremely abrasive surface, we manufacture the tape with a wide range of coarseness ranging from fine textures which are ideal for domestic applications all the way through to our industry leading X-coarse safety-grip which possesses not only the World’s largest grit granules ever applied to a sandpaper tape but also a thicker base and exceptionally tacky self adhesive coating.

Our products are available ex-stock in a huge variety of stock colours ranging from the ubiquitous black through the entire spectrum and encompassing photoluminescent and hazard warning chevrons. Any shape or width is possible with die cutting accuracy down to 0.1mm, for slit rolls we offer the ability to specify plus or minus tolerances, ideal for inserts. Heskins has mastered the ability to print high definition text or images onto the surface enabling an almost 3D effect and the possibility of highlighting your brand, message or graphic in the most visible fashion.

The sandpaper tape can be applied onto any surface that is clean, dry and free from any grease. For porous surfaces we recommend sealing the surface prior to application, our H3506 primer is ideal for this. For high traffic application or where there is a high risk of edge scuffing, e.g. stair nosings, we recommend our H3502 edge fix sealer, this inconspicuous and easily applied products ensures that the sandpaper tape edges are securely fixed in even the most difficult conditions. Every sandpaper tape variety has been independently tested by an external laboratory, our tests encompass; pendulum, ASTMs and the many DINs.
