When a Company expands, changes need to be made to accommodate the growth, so it was time we had an office overhaul at the factory, read on to find out more.
As a company expands, it becomes necessary to make changes that accommodate growth and create an environment conducive to productivity. At Heskins, we recently underwent an extensive office overhaul at our factory, and we are excited to share the details of this transformation with you. Read on to discover the challenges we faced, the improvements we made, and how our new office space sets the stage for continued success.
Building a Better Workspace: For those of you who follow us on social media, you may have seen mentions of the extensive building work happening in our offices. We are pleased to announce that the project is finally complete, and we have settled into our new and improved workspace. However, let us assure you that the process was far from easy. Moving around ten members of staff while ensuring their uninterrupted work was a challenging task. Nonetheless, despite the hardships, we are proud of the outcome and look forward to the benefits our revamped office space will bring.
Embracing Change: Undertaking an office overhaul was a necessary step to accommodate our growing team and evolving needs. The process took several months, during which the original offices, except for the admin area, were stripped down to their core. The purpose was to facilitate a complete restructure and maximise the available space. By doing so, we not only gained an extra office space but also added an upstairs toilet equipped with a modern Dyson hand dryer (we couldn’t resist the little touch of luxury). Additionally, we now have a cosy meeting room, eagerly awaiting the installation of high-end presentation items. Perhaps the most exciting upgrade is the fully-fledged canteen that replaced what used to be my office/everyone’s makeshift lunchroom. I must admit, having my own dedicated office space is a welcome change!
Acknowledging the Team Effort: Completing an office overhaul of this magnitude required the expertise and hard work of many individuals. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mike and all of his colleagues for their superb job on the building and electrical work. Additionally, we would like to thank SCT for their assistance in setting up the new cable network for our servers and PCs. Without their dedication and expertise, this office transformation would not have been possible.
