We envisioned a product that would be free of plasticisers, making it suitable for an array of applications, including use on children’s toys and medical equipment in regions with stringent regulations, such as California and Oregon. To top it off, we insisted that our creation be free of phthalates, reflecting our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
PT, in the Heskins lexicon, stands for “prototype product,” and PT32 was a testimony to this nomenclature. The reference to PT32 signifies that this innovative material, though currently in sample production, holds the potential to transition into full-scale production if the need arises. This transition would mark the material’s journey from a prototype to a game-changing solution for an array of applications.
