KEYING AGENT

Apply On Low Energy Surfaces

Prevents Tape Lift

Suitable For Plastic Surfaces

Warning Keying Agent Is Flammable & Harmful To Skin
Performance & Benefits
The keying agent is used to overcome the challenges of low-energy surfaces.
When applied in small amounts, the keying agent increases surface energy, helping to create a reliable and effective bond between anti-slip or floor marking tape and the substrate.
PUR and PP surfaces are common examples of low-energy materials. Applying a small amount of Heskins® keying agent ensures proper adhesion and a successful, long-lasting application.
Technical Specifications
Self-adhesive backings are liquid-based and therefore need to “wet out.” This term describes the ability of the adhesive to flow across the surface and form a strong bond. On low-energy surfaces, the material is much smoother and has reduced friction, which lowers surface energy and significantly reduces the likelihood of effective adhesion.
Heskins® keying promoter is supplied in small 120 ml bottles, reflecting the minimal quantity required for each application.
