MICROPRISMATIC TAPE

Reflective Tape

Durable Reflective Tape

Waterproof Tape

Easy To Clean

As a reflective tape with extremely high and focused retroreflective values, microprismatic tape is an exceptional choice for application to objects, static or moving that require high visibility at all times.

Applications

The optimal application temperature for microprismatic tape is 10°C or above.

Benefits

Microprismatics high-performance levels can be attributed to the micro-engineered 3 point prisms that cover the entirety of its surface. These prisms reflect the light in a way that returns 80% of the light back at the source. Due to the cone of light being more concentrated, it is a much more effective reflective tape that increases safety and ensures visibility of whatever it is applied to.

It is commonly referred to as EGP reflective tape, meaning engineering-grade prismatic. This helps to define micro prismatic from standard reflective tape, as it performs for much longer with a retroreflective performance of 5 years.

Applications

Application is possible on any smooth, clean, dry flat surface. Perfect for marking static objects such as posts, barricades, poles, machinery, floors, clothing and moving objects such as buses, trucks, motorcycles, boats and more.

Sizes

Heskins can produce microprismatic tape in widths from 19mm to 1210mm and lengths up to 45 metres.

Tape Thickness

Microprismatic Tape features a total applied thickness of 0.148mm, delivering a slim yet highly effective profile ideal for precision marking and visibility applications. Its engineered reflective layer is designed to maximize light return while maintaining flexibility, allowing the tape to conform smoothly to flat, curved, or irregular surfaces. This construction provides exceptional durability and long-range reflectivity without adding unnecessary bulk, making it suitable for vehicles, machinery, equipment, and any environment where high-performance visibility is essential.

Meets Regulations

Our Microprismatic Reflective Tape meets European standard EN 12899-1 for fixed vertical road signs, ensuring high visibility and compliance across various applications. Within this classification, all plain colours conform to RA1 performance levels, providing reliable reflectivity for standard marking requirements, while the fluorescent yellow variant achieves the higher RA2 grade, offering superior brightness and enhanced visibility in low-light and daytime conditions. This distinction ensures that each colour performs optimally within its intended use, supporting both safety and regulatory compliance throughout Europe.
