H6632 reflective tape is a hi-viz marking tape designed for heavy goods vehicles to conform with ECE104 conspicuity regulations. H6632 is used to outline the rear and sides of all newly registered HGVs over 7.5 tonnes and trailers over 3.5 tonnes operating in the UK and Europe.

Benefits

H6632 is a reflective tape with excellent retroreflective performance. This is achieved by a surface covered in tiny, man-made prisms which reflect the light directly back at the source in a tight cone. This increases visibility in virtually all lighting conditions, surpassing ECE104 requirements.

The metallic film base on which the prisms are applied is covered by a plastic film that is heat-sealed along the edges to prevent water penetration and delamination. This manufacturing process, which is unique to our material, creates a safety tape that is impervious to corrosion, backed with a clear, pressure-sensitive adhesive that will adhere effectively onto intended surfaces.

Applications

The optimal application temperature for ECE104 reflective tape is 10°C or above.

Tape Thickness

ECE104 Vehicle Reflective Tape features a total thickness of 0.45mm, engineered to deliver high-intensity visibility without adding excess bulk to the vehicle’s surface. The slim, uniform profile allows the tape to apply smoothly along flat panels, curved contours, and recessed areas commonly found on commercial vehicles. Despite its thin construction, the tape maintains exceptional durability, retaining reflectivity and adhesion even under constant vibration, harsh weather, and frequent washing. This optimized thickness ensures full compliance with ECE104 regulations while providing a reliable, long-lasting reflective barrier for enhanced nighttime and low-light safety.
