Printed Safety Grip™ used for Baku 2015
Services
We were commissioned to create a printed Safety Grip™ for the BMX event at the Baku European Games at the end of this month.
We were recently contacted about creating a printed Safety Grip™ that will be used on the start ramp and podium for the BMX races at the Baku 2015 European Games. The Baku 1st European Games are to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from the 12th until the 28th of June. An inaugural multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees of Europe. The BMX events are scheduled for the last 2 days, Men going through 4 rounds and Women 3 to reach high-octane rounds to reach the final. We used our standard white anti-slip tape to achieve the results, printing full colour to ensure the colour was exactly as they specified. This process ensured that the print would match the colour code they provided, and reduce the risk of any delays in the production process. As with all past jobs for BMX ramps, our ubiquitous Safety Grip™ is used to provide excellent levels of grip and traction to help the athletes achieve the best possible start. We can print full colour to any material but also white onto black, ensuring that we can meet clients needs whenever necessary.
For large-format jobs, we create a plan, which is printed onto sheets of anti-slip tape, and then pieced together during application. This method makes printing onto a large-format effortless. Our process has become more and more optimised over the years to allow us to meet shorter deadlines.
